Machinist

Job Summary

The Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining various manual machine tools to manufacture precision parts according to specifications. This role ensures that all parts meet quality standards and communicates effectively with supervisors and engineering teams.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machine shop equipment as needed to produce parts.

  • Verify that machined parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.

  • Communicate with supervisors, managers, or the engineering department regarding production issues or improvements.

  • Follow company safety guidelines and personnel policies at all times.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Required Education & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of machine shop experience.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Technical school training preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
