Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Sit-Down Forklift Driver to join our warehouse/operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials and products within the warehouse or facility.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials, pallets, and products safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage racks
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and organization of materials in the warehouse
• Perform routine forklift inspections and basic maintenance checks; report issues or safety concerns
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and OSHA/company guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties including inventory support, order picking, and cleaning work areas
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and safety

Qualifications:

• Must pass a written forklift exam and complete a driving forklift test
• Prior forklift certification and proven experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs as needed
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and manage multiple tasks

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
• Standing, walking, and operating a forklift for extended periods
• Potential overtime or shift flexibility as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift as required for daily tasks
