Position Title: Repair Tech/ Warehouse Coordinator 

We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically inclined individual with hands-on experience to join our team as a Field Service Technician. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of thermal printers and applicator systems used in warehouse and manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a customer-focused mindset. This position requires both technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with clients while delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on thermal printers and applicator systems, both onsite and in-house
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime for customers
  • Install and configure new equipment, including calibration and testing to ensure proper functionality
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and service recommendations
  • Work directly with customers in a professional manner, often independently, to resolve issues efficiently
  • Travel locally to customer sites, sometimes accompanying team members, to perform service and support tasks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all company safety standards and protocols while working in warehouse and manufacturing environments

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience (industrial equipment preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments, including warehouses and production facilities
  • Strong understanding of basic PC operations, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel for reporting and documentation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple service tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for direct customer interaction
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed for on-site service calls

Preferred Qualifications (Highly Valued):

  • Experience with PLC systems, including basic programming or troubleshooting
  • Electrical knowledge, including reading schematics and working with low/high voltage systems
  • Previous experience servicing industrial printers, labeling systems, or similar automation equipment

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation:

  • $33.65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
