Our client is seeking a dedicated Dining Hall Supervisor to lead their team in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Join our client's team and play a pivotal role in enhancing student life through quality dining services.
 

Responsibilities of the Dining Hall Supervisor

  • Serve as the manager on duty, ensuring all standards are followed and excellent customer service is provided.

  • Coordinate repair calls, manage maintenance issues, and oversee stock levels for china and equipment.

  • Directly manage meal periods during service and assist as needed.

  • Handle scheduling, payroll, and share hiring duties with the Manager.

  • Address employee relations situations and solve operational problems, reporting issues to the Manager.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and allergen prevention protocols.

  • Support special events on large college weekends.
     

Requirements of the Dining Hall Supervisor

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in operational management with staff management experience.

  • Allergen Awareness Certification or ability to achieve within six months of employment.

  • Current SERV Safe Manager Certification or ability to achieve within six months of employment.

  • Strong leadership skills, including experience handling emergencies and employee relations issues.

  • Proficient in employee evaluations, training, and hiring.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively.
     

Compensation/Benefits for the Dining Hall Supervisor

  • 6AM TO 2:30PM

  • $26.50
