Quality Control – DAY Shift

Location: 55th Ave & Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $18 
Schedule: 8:00AM – 8:00PM Monday-Sunday

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to support quality assurance operations in a battery manufacturing facility. The QC Technician is responsible for inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, conducting tests on battery cells and packs, and ensuring products meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, manufacturing experience, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of battery components, cells, modules, and packs.
• Conduct visual testing using standard QC equipment and procedures.
• Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
• Record inspection and test results accurately in quality management systems and production logs.
• Identify defects, nonconforming materials, and process deviations; escalate issues to supervisors and engineering teams.
• Verify calibration and proper operation of testing and measuring equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and battery safety regulations.
• Assist with audits, process validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve product quality and yield.

Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
• Must pass a background check (no violent, theft-related, or sexual convictions).
• Can begin working pending background check results.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures.
