The Quality Control Technician is responsible for monitoring and testing products to ensure they meet the company’s quality and safety standards. This role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process production, and finished products, as well as ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in food safety and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct routine microbiological and chemical testing on products to identify any potential hazards or deviations.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure that processes are in compliance with GMPs and HACCP standards.
  • Record and analyze data from inspections and tests, documenting any non-conformance and communicating findings to the Quality Control Manager.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures to improve product quality and safety.
  • Ensure that all products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate quality issues and collaborate with production teams to resolve any non-conformances or discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular sanitation checks to ensure the production environment meets food safety standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing data and documentation as required.
  • Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures, food safety regulations, and proper documentation.
