FAQs
Bring a folder with extra copies of your resume, references, and a pen and paper for taking notes. Have a few questions ready to ask at the end of the interview, and don’t forget to dress professionally!
For your first day on a new assignment, it’s always best to dress professionally and in accordance with your position and work environment. If you’re starting an in-office or clerical role, opt for business professional attire, such as a dress shirt, slacks, or a suit, rather than business casual. You can always adjust based on the company’s dress code after your first day. For light industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing positions, safety and functionality come first. If you have long hair, make sure it is tied back, and do not wear any loose or dangling jewelry. Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants without rips or tears, and a clean, plain t-shirt. Some roles may require steel-toed shoes or other necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) which your Masis Representative will confirm with you during onboarding.
Show initiative! Ask your supervisor if there are additional tasks you can assist with.
On your first day of work, inquire what is the preferred way to handle this. It may include making two calls: one to your worksite supervisor and one to your Masis Representative. If you are unable to immediately reach them via phone, send both an email and text message if you have the capability. Finally, call your local Branch Office to get a hold of an alternative Masis Representative.
If your Masis Representative has not already reached out at this time, contact them directly so we can update your availability for a new assignment.
Not necessarily, but many of our temporary roles lead to full-time offers. Show up on time, do quality work, and take initiative to increase your chances!
Ask your supervisor to notify your Masis Representative. They will handle the transition and employment status update.
Masis Staffing is the official employer for all temporary and contract positions. If you are fulfilling a direct hire or recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) role, the company in which you work at is your official employer—Masis Staffing just technically served as your recruiter.
