Are you a skilled CNC Machine Operator looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team and produce high-quality machined parts using advanced CNC technology. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, this opportunity is for you!
 

Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator

  • Produce quality machined parts using CNC milling machines, lathes, twin turret machines, or Swiss-type machines.

  • Load parts, operate machine controls, set offsets, perform simple program edits, change tooling, and deburr parts under the direction of a supervisor or designated team member.

  • Complete secondary operations as required and measure and inspect parts using hand measuring instruments.

  • Read and follow all written operating and inspection instructions specific to assigned jobs.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings related to assigned work.

  • Report quality concerns, safety issues, equipment malfunctions, or other operational problems to the department manager and/or supervisor.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and keep equipment properly maintained.

  • Communicate with department managers, supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and team members to coordinate assignments and resolve machining or quality issues.

  • Follow all company rules, safety procedures, ISO quality standards, and related procedures.

Requirements of the CNC Machine Operator

  • Ability to effectively communicate and understand job instructions verbally and in writing in English.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to safely operate CNC milling machines, lathes, or Swiss-type machines independently.

  • Strong organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail and the ability to maintain workflow.

  • Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

  • Ability to meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standards.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

  • High School diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
