Masis Staffing Solutions is currently hiring Machine Operators for a growing manufacturing facility. We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Position Summary

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining wick production machinery while ensuring quality standards are met. This role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Pull and prepare raw wick materials for production work orders.
  • Create and apply accurate product labels.
  • Set up wick machines with the appropriate dyes, speeds, fans, and temperature settings.
  • Load machines with the proper wax materials, including wick wax and high-melt wax.
  • Mount spools and thread wicking materials through production equipment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on wick machines.
  • Monitor product quality and report any defects or production issues to supervisors.
  • Track machine downtime and provide daily production updates.
  • Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory associated with wick production.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Excel to document production data and inventory information.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain established performance standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical job duties as needed.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

Schedule and Pay:

  • Monday-Friday
  • 5:00am-1:00pm
  • $19.00 an hour
  • Temp-to-Hire
