Job Title: Packaging Associate
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Hours: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Mon- Thurs) + OT as needed
Pay Rate: $16.50

Job Description:
Masis Staffing is now hiring Packaging Associates in Bolingbrook, IL. This is an opportunity for dependable individuals to join a fast-paced food manufacturing and packaging environment. The Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging finished products, maintaining quality standards, following GMP and food safety requirements, and supporting production operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain GMP compliance and follow all food safety, quality, and company procedures
• Follow instructions provided by Machine Operators, Packaging Leads, and Supervisors
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Assemble cartons and packaging materials according to production requirements
• Package products into cartons following established specifications and packing patterns
• Accurately count products and verify quantities before sealing cartons
• Operate case taping equipment and other packaging-related machinery
• Inspect finished products and report quality concerns to QA or management
• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, and equipment cleaning
• Dispose of waste materials and assist with maintaining a clean work environment
• Separate and place product designated for rework into appropriate containers
• Support production goals and maintain efficient workflow throughout the shift
• Follow all lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and required PPE guidelines
• Assist with additional production and packaging duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Manufacturing, food production, or warehouse experience preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions regularly
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50+ lbs frequently
• Must be comfortable working around moving machinery and equipment
• Basic math skills required
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
• Must be willing to submit to a background screen
