Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Hours: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Mon- Thurs) + OT as needed
Pay Rate: $18.00

Job Description:
Masis Staffing is now hiring Machine Operators in Bolingbrook, IL. This is an opportunity for dependable individuals to support a fast-paced food manufacturing and packaging operation. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating packaging equipment, maintaining production flow, ensuring product quality, and following all GMP and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working around machinery in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate packaging and production equipment including form-fill-seal machines, pouching machines, conveyors, case sealers, and checkweighers
  • Perform product and packaging changeovers according to production requirements
  • Package products according to schedule, ensuring correct weights, counts, and lot codes
  • Maintain GMP compliance and adhere to all company safety and quality procedures
  • Review daily production requirements with Production Lead and/or Supervisor
  • Maintain accurate production documentation including pre-op checklists, pack sheets, metal detector logs, and lot tracking records
  • Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues or material discrepancies immediately
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs as directed
  • Ensure packaging materials (film, boxes, pallets, etc.) meet quality standards before use
  • Support line efficiency by assisting with breaks, line balance, and workflow continuity
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work areas through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks
  • Assist in training and supporting production associates as needed
  • Ensure finished goods are properly labeled, documented, and transferred to warehouse
  • Follow all QA guidelines and escalate quality concerns when identified
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Food manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50+ lbs) frequently
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
  • Must be willing to submit to a background screen
