Masis Staffing is currently seeking TEMPORARY Inventory Control Specialists to assist our client for a week long project.  The dates for this project are June 29th – July 2nd, 2026.  Hours are 6am – 4pm.

Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring efficient movement of parts and materials throughout the organization. Supports warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams by investigating inventory discrepancies, processing transactions, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Inventory Control Specialists play a key role in preventing stock shortages, minimizing excess inventory, and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances between physical counts and system records.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Maintain inventory records within inventory management and ERP systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to purchasing and management.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory items.
  • Process inventory adjustments, transfers, returns, and damaged materials.
  • Generate inventory reports and analyze inventory trends to support business decisions.
  • Assist with annual physical inventory audits.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and inventory management standards.

Job Qualifications:

 
  • Experience with inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory management software/ERP systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cycle counting, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common instructional documents. Ability to respond with good verbal and written communication.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measures.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 4:00PM

Compensation:

  • Salary: $17.10/hr

Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent

Work Environment:
Normal amount of standing in the plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a production workstation. Some travel to the customer may be required.
