General Production Associate (Operations Specialist)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (30-40 hrs/week)

  • Embroidery/QC: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Shipping/Fulfillment: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
    Pay Rate: $13.00 – $14.50/hour (based on experience/department)
    Worksite: On-site

Position Summary

Marley Lilly is a fast-growing leader in personalized apparel and accessories. The General Production Associate supports day-to-day production and order fulfillment by following standard operating procedures, maintaining quality standards, and helping ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. Associates may be cross-trained across multiple departments as business needs change.


Key Responsibilities (General)

  • Produce customer orders by following established procedures and work instructions
  • Maintain quality standards throughout production
  • Verify order accuracy (quantities, placement locations, garment/item types)
  • Communicate delays or issues that could prevent orders from being completed
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance steps as assigned
  • Support other departments as needed; other duties may be assigned

Department Areas (may include)

Cleanup / Quality Control

  • Inspect personalization for correct letters, color, sizing, and item type
  • Check for defects/damage; ensure items meet quality standards
  • Clip threads, remove stabilizer/topping, and prepare items for presentation
  • Fold and package items neatly (gift-ready appearance)

Inventory / Picking & Induction

  • Print and label orders from the system
  • Pick items from inventory and deliver to the correct department
  • Prioritize oldest orders first; confirm correct item details (size/color/type)
  • Restock, repackage as needed, and report missing items promptly

Replenishment

  • Scan/label incoming inventory; move product to pick/overflow locations
  • Refill pick locations from overstock; support audits/inventory projects
  • Keep racking and work areas clean and organized

Fulfillment / Shipping

  • Pick and verify completed customer orders
  • Pack in appropriate bags/boxes and apply shipping labels accurately

Other production areas may include: heat press, engraving, graphics support, etc.
