POSITION SUMMARY
The Interior Door Assembler assembles interior door units and related wood components using hand and power tools. This role requires experience with a nail gun, accurate measuring with a tape measure, and the ability to work with lumber while meeting quality and production standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble interior door components (door slabs, jambs/frames, casing/trim, stops, etc.).
Use a nail gun to fasten lumber/trim and assemble door components safely and accurately.
Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using a tape measure.
Use basic hand tools, including a hammer; work with lumber/wood materials.
Install and align hardware as needed (hinges/strike plates/handlesets) per work order.
Inspect finished product for quality (fit, alignment, cosmetic defects).
Label, package, and stage completed doors for shipping or the next department.
Follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and maintain a clean work area.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience using a nail gun.
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
Experience using a hammer and working with lumber/wood materials.
Manufacturing/assembly or carpentry/woodworking experience preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 lbs (or as required).
Reliable transportation required.
