Quality Insepctor
North Haven, CT

Are you ready to join a dynamic team in a manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking dedicated and experienced Quality Inspector to become an integral part of their team.

Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:

  • Layout and perform first piece inspections
  • Participate in routine mechanical inspections and receiving inspections
  • Prepare First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102

Qualifications for Quality Inspector:

  • Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
  • Solid understanding of GD&T
  • Experience setting up and utilizing various measuring instruments such as; bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, e.t.c.. 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, strong mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Bonus Qualifications:
  • CMM experience is preferred
  • Perform Calibration and maintain records
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System in an AS9100 environment
