Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for a Direct Hire, Machine Shop Supervisor.
Our client is one of the region’s most reliable industrial maintenance contractors. The Machine Shop Supervisor leads and directs all
machine and fabrication shop operations within our client's industrial facility in Trenton, NJ.
The Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all machinery, production equipment, and facility infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of industrial machine shop principles, and a proven track record in managing teams, budgets and complex shop and fabrication programs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Background as industrial maintenance supervisor /manager
• Manual Machine processes
• Industrial machinery repairs
• Fabrication/Welding
• Proposal Development
• Short Term and long-Term workflow and talent planning.
• Customer and supplier interactions
• Budget Development and oversight
• Committed to Safety and Safe behaviors
Technical Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft platforms
• Previous experience in a similar leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated success in implementing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience in managing maintenance budgets and controlling costs.
• Hands-on experience with a wide range of industrial equipment and
systems.
Experience in proposal development and estimating a plus.
This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with all safety,
