Forklift Driver (Sit-Down)
Schedule: 1st shift 6AM-3:30PM with OT; Saturday shift noted 6:00 AM–12:00 PM
Pay: $18.00/hr
Type: Temp-to-Hire 
Experience Required: 1+ year sit-down forklift (preferred/required per client need)

Job Summary

Masis is seeking a dependable Sit-Down Forklift Driver to support warehouse operations by safely loading/unloading trucks, staging product, and preparing shipments. This role requires strong attention to safety, efficiency, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload inbound/outbound freight.
  • Stage product on pallets and move materials to assigned warehouse locations.
  • Shrink wrap and secure pallets for shipping/storage.
  • Verify counts and visually inspect product for damage as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all warehouse safety rules.
  • Support general warehouse tasks as assigned to meet daily production/shipping goals.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of recent sit-down forklift experience.
  • Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
  • English communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
