Line Technician | Machine Assistant
East Longmeadow, MA
Are you ready to play a crucial role in a dynamic production environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Line Technician | Machine Assistant to ensure the seamless flow of finished products through the bottling and palletizing process. Join our client’s team and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Line Technician | Machine Assistant
Monitor and support production line operations to ensure continuous workflow.
Operate and monitor palletizing equipment.
Clear conveyor and palletizer jams as needed to minimize downtime.
Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure customer specifications are met.
Sort and organize layer pads, pallets, top frames, and other packaging materials.
Assist with line changeovers and production startup activities.
Provide support for other team members in other production departments as required, including during lunch periods.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Follow all company safety procedures, GMP requirements, food safety standards, and housekeeping expectations.
Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and safety hazards to supervision.
Requirements of the Line Technician | Machine Assistant
Manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and attendance.
Basic mechanical aptitude preferred but not required.
Ability to stand and walk for entire 12-hour shift.
Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Week 2 – 48 hrs – Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday
Day Shift 6:45am to 7:15pm
$17.25
Night Shift 6:45pm to 7:15pm
