General Responsibilities

  • Install complete electrical raceway systems, including EMT, RMC, PVC, cable tray, troughs, and other related systems.
  • Install wires and cables through electrical raceways.
  • Install panelboards, switchboards, switchgear, MCCs (Motor Control Centers), and control panels.
  • Install various types of switches, receptacles, and outlet devices.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control circuits and devices up to 480 VAC.
  • Install various types of luminaires (lighting fixtures).
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70).
  • Install motors, transformers, and generators.
  • Install communication, Ethernet, and fiber optic cabling systems.
  • Install VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), control relays, power supplies, safety relays, proximity switches, and other instrumentation and control devices.
  • Test electrical system installations to verify proper installation and operation.
  • Connect electrical systems to utility power sources.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training and electrical education programs.
  • Travel to various job sites as required.
  • Work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards on job sites, including trailers, trucks, laydown areas, and waste storage areas, in accordance with Marshall and/or customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge, skills, and competencies.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Service Representative or Foreman.
