Service Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for coordinating people and schedules? Our client is seeking a Service Coordinator to join their dynamic team, providing technical equipment and field service support. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
 

Responsibilities of the Service Coordinator

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries.

  • Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance, annual service visits, emergency service calls, and other field service activities.

  • Maintain and optimize technician schedules based on priorities, customer availability, and service needs.

  • Prepare, track, and follow up on service agreement proposals and contract renewals.

  • Process service contracts, sales orders, purchase orders, and related documentation within the company's ERP system.

  • Coordinate service kit preparation, vendor purchasing, and inventory needs.

  • Monitor service documentation, open service items, parts availability, quotations, and billing handoffs.

  • Proactively identify and escalate urgent service issues to ensure timely resolution.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
     

Requirements of the Service Coordinator

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service, service coordination, dispatch, or administrative support role.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Associate degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, medical devices, water treatment, HVAC, electrical, mechanical contracting, or another field service environment.

  • Experience using ERP, CRM, scheduling, or accounting software such as QuickBooks.

  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive working relationships.
     

Compensation/Benefits for the Service Coordinator

  • Pay Rate $22.00+
