Industrial Mechanic -Entry Level-
$22+/Hour – Full-Time – Temp-to-Hire – Huger, SC

Masis Staffing is hiring Entry-Level Industrial Mechanics for a leading steel manufacturing company in Huger, SC. If you have mechanical aptitude, maintenance experience, or have worked in manufacturing or the steel industry, we want to hear from you!
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room for advancement. Pay is based on experience and skill level.
Payrate:

• Starting at $22.00/hour
• Higher pay available based on experience

Schedule:
1st Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

What You'll Do as an Industrial Mechanic:

• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair equipment
• Install, remove, and replace machine components
• Use hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools
• Read and interpret measuring instruments, including calipers, gauges, micrometers, and rulers
• Perform routine inspections to reduce equipment downtime
• Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean work environment
• Work both in the shop and occasionally at customer locations

Qualifications as an Industrial Mechanic I:
We're looking for candidates with:

• Mechanical or industrial maintenance experience (preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing, steel, construction, automotive, or heavy equipment industries
• Ability to read measuring tools and perform accurate measurements
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Physical Requirements as an Industrial Mechanic I

• Stand and walk throughout the shift
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Climb, kneel, crouch, and work at various heights
• Safely work in an industrial environment
