Job Title: Administrative Clerk
Location: Joliet, IL
Hours: TBD (1st Shift)
Pay Rate: $19.50/hr

Job Description:
The Administrative Clerk serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role plays a key part in order processing, customer account management, and coordination with internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Maintain and update customer accounts and database information
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, shipping, operations) to resolve issues
  • Prepare reports, invoices, and administrative documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
  • Support daily office and administrative operations as needed

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Customer service–driven with a problem-solving mindset
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background screen
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
