Job Description:
Masis Staffing is now hiring Equipment Operators for a warehouse and distribution facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals with warehouse and material handling experience. Associates will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, receive, and ship products throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to safety, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience handling warehouse inventory and logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products throughout the facility
• Load, unload, transport, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Safely enter and exit trailers while moving materials and products
• Ensure the safety of all personnel working within equipment operating zones
• Verify quantities, part numbers, destinations, and shipment information before moving materials
• Assist with weighing, wrapping, banding, packaging, and preparing products for shipment
• Receive, process, store, move, and ship inventory according to company procedures
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns as needed
• Follow warehouse, logistics, and inventory control procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and operational guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of warehouse, forklift, or material handling experience preferred
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents and work instructions
• Warehouse and logistics experience preferred
• Basic computer skills, including email and data entry
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet when required
• Ability to work in environments with changing temperatures
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
• Must be willing to submit to a background screen
