Sit down Forklift Enfield CT

This position is responsible for safely moving materials throughout the warehouse and production areas while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

Operate a sit-down forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
Load and unload trucks.
Move raw materials and finished products to designated locations.
Supply materials to production as needed.
Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow all safety policies and company procedures.
Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Basic math and reading skills.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate should have:

1-3 years of sit-down forklift experience working in a manufacturing facility
Proven track record of good attendance
Excellent attention to details
Good math skills, especially measurement skills, including fractions
Initiative
Must be able to work overtime on Friday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am

Pay 19/hour plus shift differential.
