Material Handler 2nd Shift

Our client is seeking experienced Material Handlers to join their team, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing materials efficiently and safely. If you thrive in a warehouse setting and are comfortable working in freezer-like conditions, this opportunity is for you!
Responsibilities of the Material Handler 2nd Shift
Operate high-lift forklifts to safely handle and stack materials at elevated heights.
Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate placement of materials in high-rack storage.
Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
Process and complete all required documentation for receipt and shipment of goods.
Verify pallet counts for accuracy, including quantity, item code, lot code, and pallet ID labels.
Inspect pallets for damage and quality, reporting any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Store products in proper freezer locations based on pallet size and weight.
Assist with daily cycle counts and verify inventory locations.
Requirements of the Material Handler 2nd Shift
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic literacy and computer skills required.
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. repeatedly and work in freezer environments.
Strong teamwork mindset with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lift, stand, bend, and stoop as required.
Complete Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) inspection forms daily.
