Machine Operator
Centerbrook, CT

Masis Staffing is looking for machine operators for our manufacturing client in Centerbrook, CT

Job Description:
The Machine Operator plays a vital role in producing high-quality tooled parts by safely and efficiently operating manufacturing equipment. This position involves assembling and producing parts according to detailed work orders, diagrams, and supervisor instructions. The Machine Operator ensures all products meet strict quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Operates roller marking machine, backs up setups as
needed
Operates power presses & metal forming machines
Operates copper & aluminum cutoff saws, power presses,
and drill/tap machines
Backs up machinists and other operators as needed
Cross trains in other areas to improve skill set and reduce
company vulnerabilities
Performs first piece and in-process inspection – works
with Quality Dept.
Brings parts to wash room
Performs machine maintenance and upkeep
Serves as a member of the operations team, supporting
coworkers, acting as a technical resource, and offering
ideas for improvement
Requirements:
Must have Machine Operator Experience
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be 18 years or older
Must be eligible to work in the US

Compensation for the Machine Worker:
DOE: $18 an hour
