Build Custom Equipment—Not the Same Product Every Day

Are you an experienced electro-mechanical assembler who enjoys challenging builds, detailed wiring, and seeing a complete system come together?

We are seeking a Specialized Electro-Mechanical Equipment Builder to assemble sophisticated products and equipment designed for specific customer applications. This is not repetitive, high-volume production or a prototype-only position. You will work on specialized client builds that may vary in size, configuration, and complexity.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in electro-mechanical assembly, machine building, electrical panel wiring, capital equipment, automation equipment, medical devices, or complex industrial systems.

What You’ll Build

  • Mechanical and pneumatic assemblies
  • Chassis, power supplies, cables, and subassemblies
  • Complex biomedical devices and capital equipment

What You’ll Do

  • Build specialized equipment from assembly drawings and work instructions
  • Read wiring diagrams, wire run lists, Bills of Material, and mechanical drawings
  • Perform point-to-point wiring and route cables throughout complex assemblies
  • Assemble electrical panels, control boxes, chassis, and mechanical structures
  • Integrate electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components into completed systems
  • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and micrometers
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly or wiring issues
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality on build requirements
  • Learn new customer products and share build knowledge with other assemblers

Required Skills

  • Previous electro-mechanical, electrical, or complex mechanical assembly experience
  • Experience reading assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Material
  • Point-to-point wiring or electrical panel assembly experience
  • Ability to assemble and integrate multiple components into finished equipment
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, or similar measuring tools
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and customer specifications
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality

Experience That Transfers Well

We welcome applicants with backgrounds in:

  • Custom machine building

  • Capital equipment manufacturing
  • Medical device or biomedical equipment assembly
  • Aerospace or defense assembly
  • Automotive electrical systems

  • Military electronics, avionics, or mechanical systems

Preferred Experience

  • Complex panel builds with large wire run lists
  • Large-scale capital equipment
  • PC hardware installation and configuration
  • Cleanroom or regulated manufacturing
  • Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic integration

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a precision light-industrial environment

Bring Your Craftsmanship to Every Build

This role offers the opportunity to work on specialized customer equipment rather than performing the same repetitive assembly every day. You will use your wiring, mechanical, and problem-solving skills to complete complex builds where accuracy and craftsmanship truly matter.

Apply today to build advanced equipment for a variety of innovative customer applications.
