Shipping & Receiving Associate I

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate I to support daily warehouse operations in Westborough, MA. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience who is looking to build their skills in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using computers, and able to work safely as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
• Prepare outgoing materials for shipment
• Verify products against packing slips and shipping paperwork
• Complete basic shipping and receiving documentation
• Enter shipment information into an ERP system
• Use Microsoft Office and shipping portals
• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies
• Load and unload trucks and deliveries
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Communicate with drivers, vendors, and team members
• Assist with warehouse tracking and reporting as needed
• Cross-train in other Shipping & Receiving functions

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or material handling experience preferred
• Basic computer and data-entry skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
• Comfortable completing shipping paperwork
• Ability to safely lift and move materials
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn ERP systems and warehouse processes

Compensation
