Mold Operator
Amherst, NH

Masis Staffing is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to fill a mold operator position. This position is located in Amherst NH on the bus route.

This is for a 2nd shift position

Responsibilities for a mold operator :

Mold operator will create products according to specifications
Perform quality control checks on finished products
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Maintain product inventory in the production area
Mold operator will work closely with production team to ensure that products are produced in a timely manner and meet quality standards
Assist in the development of production schedules, tools, and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability
Operate injection molding machines including inspection, assembly, and properly packaging. Communicate with lead technician regarding requires tasks Identifying, reporting and alerting technicians/supervisor to quality issues Weighing, counting, and packaging finished goods for shipping according to printed instructions on work order cover page Record production and scrap information on P-Chart

Skills for Mold operator

Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch (or other measuring instruments)
Mold operator must have the ability to operate a injection machine (1st or 2nd generation preferred)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (2 people on occasion)
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, etc.)to meet key performance indicators
Strong work ethic with ability to work independently or in a team environment
Must be able to follow all safety procedures at all times with occasional exposure to heat and cold.

Compensation for Mold Operator:
Hourly: $19.00
Hours: Mon-Thurs 3:15pm-12:45am, Friday 2:15pm-10:45pm
