Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for a Direct Hire, Janitorial Lead.
This is a direct hire opportunity: 
Hours are Monday -Friday from 3pm – 10pm.

Position Summary:

The Janitorial Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day cleaning operations for the facility, ensuring all areas are cleaned to standard, supplies are stocked, and the janitorial team stays on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-traffic common areas (entrances, hallways, breakrooms, offices, retail/public spaces as applicable).
• Complete periodic deep-clean tasks (floor scrubbing/buffing, waxing, carpet extraction, detail cleaning).
• Ensure cleaning is completed safely and according to required procedures (proper chemical use, dilution, labeling, and storage).
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request reorders as needed (chemicals, paper products, liners, mop heads, etc.).
• Inspect work areas and address quality issues promptly; document issues and follow up with the team.
• Train new team members on cleaning standards, equipment use, and safety expectations.
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or damage observed during cleaning (spill hazards, broken fixtures, etc.).
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and other tools as required.
• Maintain attendance, professionalism, and customer service standards; respond to client or site requests when needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior janitorial/cleaning experience required; lead or supervisor experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to follow schedules, prioritize tasks, and lead by example.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent cleaning standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
• Must be dependable and able to work assigned shift (including early mornings, nights, weekends, or split shifts depending on site needs).
