Quality Tech Job Summary
The Quality Tech whose primary role related to the pour end of the candle lines.
Observation Areas:

• Pour, Wickers, Glass Issues, Candle Weights Verification, Wick Straightening

Rework & MRB:

• Oven Duties & WIP Barrels from Wax

Quality Tech Essential Job Functions

• Supports the supervisor in oversight of teams of employee’s manufacturing in a process environment with respect to candles and home fragrance products on the Pour End.
• Monitors and helps verify corrective and preventive actions are effective and sustainable
• May monitor efficiency standards and measure performance to targets, tracks, reports, conducts root cause analysis, and supports corrective actions as defined by the supervisor to maintain and improve efficiencies. Will be challenged with improving efficiencies of line production.
• Ensures a safe work environment by communicating safety requirements, auditing, tracking, and providing feedback and corrective actions to employees and management.
• Will collect data, maintain metrics, monitor trends, and report to supervision on the health and well-being of manufacturing.

• Front line Audits: Pour, Wickers, Glass Issues, Candle Weights Verification, Wick Straightening, Wick Length and Sustainer Glue coverage

• Maintains product quality. Works to identify defects and provide root cause and coordinate corrective actions with supervision as required.
• WIP and Quarantine stored at off-site:
• maintain areas, logs, and coordinator sorts, melt, rework, and work with scheduling to purge any usable goods as fast as possible
• Control of monitor of the oven for remelt
• WIP Barrell Process. Identification and proper hold of all WIP wax Candle Poured and Drummed

Quality Tech Skills

• Will be expected to be a team member of the supervisory and management staff; chairing meetings, offering opinions, supporting initiatives, and treating co-workers with mutual respect.
• Ability to use various machines and practical skills.
• Good communication skills to deliver valuable teamwork. (Must understand English language)
• Able to follow and execute instructions.

Quality Tech Hours and Pay:

• $17.75 Monday- Thursday 5:30am-3:30 pm
