Position Responsibilities
Off loads all inbound freight and maintains written documentation of the transactions.
Verifies accuracy of inbound freight bills and signs for the materials.
Rotates product date codes during pulling operations.
Maintains inventory accuracy.
Maintains safety and sanitation standards.
Complies with Company and USDA regulations governing storage and shipment of product.
Able to bend, carry and lift up to 60 pounds without difficulty.
Able to withstand working in a sub-zero (cold) environment.
Able to work independently with little direction.
Ability to read, write and take directions in English.
Able to perform other duties as directed.
Position Requirements
Must be fluent in written and oral English. Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to perform simple mathematical functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Must have established experience navigating a High Reach Forklift. *You will specifically be using a Raymond 7500 Stand-Up Forklift with retractable forks.* Additional experience with sit-downs, stand up fork trucks and scissor lifts are a plus.
Two plus years' experience in shipping/receiving.
Experienced in put-away / retrieval of pallets in racked warehouses.
Experience in loading & unloading trucks.
Familiar with warehouse documentation and processing requirements.
