Press Brake Lead Setup/Operator
Location: Peabody, MA
We are looking for a skilled and driven Press Brake Lead Setup/Operator to join our organization. This position is accountable for programming, setting up, running, and inspecting medium to complex jobs, while actively improving departmental efficiency, safety, and productivity. This is a leadership role responsible for guiding up to six team members and collaborating with multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, operate, and verify medium to complex jobs across various equipment, with primary emphasis on Press Brake operations.
Supervise, coach, and develop a team of up to six employees to promote strong performance and ongoing improvement.
Analyze job requirements and technical specifications to ensure accurate, efficient production.
Work closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes and address operational issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards and reinforce all safety policies within the department.
Serve as a point of contact for customers by offering technical assistance and supporting problem-resolution efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
At least 2+ years of experience in a press brake setup lead role.
Certified and highly proficient in programming, setup, and operation of Amada RG Series press brakes with NC9EX controls.
Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing complex jobs and communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
