Commercial Carpenter – $30–$35/hr

Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour

We are hiring 2 experienced Commercial Carpenters for a long-term construction project in Burlington, MA.
Candidates should have hands-on commercial construction experience with an emphasis on Light Gauge Metal Framing, commercial doors and frames, door hardware, and suspended ceilings.

Responsibilities

• Install Light Gauge Metal Framing
• Measure, cut, layout, and assemble framing components
• Install commercial doors and frames
• Install commercial door hardware
• Install suspended ceiling grid and components
• Read and follow blueprints and construction drawings
• Complete interior carpentry and finish work
• Perform field modifications and repairs
• Complete punch-list work
• Perform basic masonry patching when needed
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Work closely with leads, superintendents, and other trades
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications

• Previous commercial carpentry experience
• Light Gauge Metal Framing experience strongly preferred
• Commercial door and frame installation experience
• Door hardware experience preferred
• Suspended ceiling experience preferred
• Ability to read basic blueprints and layouts
• Masonry patch experience is a plus
• Comfortable using construction hand and power tools
• OSHA 10 card required – must be in hand and legible
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation to Burlington, MA
