Masis Staffing is currently seeking Forklift Operators to fill full time positions for 2nd shift with a company in Ladson, SC.

Position SummaryThis position will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role supports production efficiency by ensuring timely delivery of parts and materials while following all safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Operate sit-down, stand-up, or Reach truck safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers
  • Transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
  • Supply production lines with necessary materials and components
  • Stack and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, and general warehouse duties
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards

Job Qualifications:

 
  • 2 years of forklift operating experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Basic computer and inventory system knowledge preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common instructional documents. Ability to respond with good verbal and written communication.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measures.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm

Compensation:

  • Salary: $18.75/hr

Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent

Work Environment:
Normal amount of standing in the plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a production workstation.
