Masis Staffing Solutions is seeking dependable 1st shift Assembler Packer to support production by inspecting, packing, and labeling moisture-proof packaging products to quality and customer specifications for a warehouse company located in Columbia SC. This role requires attention to detail, steady pace, and a strong commitment to safety and attendance.

1st Shift Hours 8am-5pm
Monday – Fridays, OT on Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

Pack finished products into cartons/totes per work instructions and packing specs
Inspect products for defects (tears, improper seals, contamination, incorrect counts, etc.)
Label packages accurately (part numbers, quantities, lot/date codes, etc.)
Perform basic counting, weighing, and verification to ensure correct quantities
Keep packaging materials stocked at the workstation (boxes, bags, labels, tape)
Maintain a clean, organized work area (5S/housekeeping)
Follow safety rules and PPE requirements at all times
Communicate issues to the team lead/supervisor (quality concerns, shortages, downtime)
Support other production tasks as needed (rework, sorting, palletizing)

Qualifications / Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand motions
Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (as required by the line)
Basic math and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Prior packing/warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred (not always required)

Work Environment

Manufacturing/production floor environment
May involve noise, moving equipment, and production pace requirements
PPE may include safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection (as required)
