Masis Staffing is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support warehouse and manufacturing operations for a growing company.
This role is responsible for the accurate movement, storage, kitting, put-away, and distribution of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have previous material-handling experience, strong computer skills, and experience working with an ERP or warehouse management system.
Perform physical and administrative tasks related to inventory handling and storage
Complete material kitting and put-away activities accurately and on time
Pick, issue, move, and distribute materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
Safely store and retrieve inventory throughout the warehouse
Follow system-generated material queues and daily work priorities
Enter and update material information within ERP and inventory systems
Support improvements to inventory and material data accuracy
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment
Verify materials and quantities during movement and storage
Maintain organized warehouse and inventory locations
Assist with warehouse racking layout changes as directed
Support departmental KPI tracking and reporting
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work closely with warehouse, production, inventory, and leadership teams
Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
1–2 years of material handling, inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
Previous experience issuing, picking, storing, or moving production materials
Good basic math skills
Intermediate computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous forklift experience or ability to successfully complete forklift training
Experience operating pallet jacks or similar material-handling equipment
Previous experience with Epicor, Omnify, or another ERP/WMS system
Manufacturing warehouse or stockroom experience
Kitting and material issuing experience
Inventory control experience
Experience installing or removing warehouse pallet racking
This position is performed entirely within a warehouse environment and requires regular physical activity.
Candidates must be able to:
Stand and walk for extended periods
Frequently reach with hands and arms
Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Read labels, part numbers, and small print in varying lighting conditions
Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts
