Responsibilities of the Machine Tech Dept. 50
Operate machinery efficiently and safely.
Handle materials and ensure proper assembly and packing.
Conduct inspections to maintain quality standards.
Complete shop floor paperwork accurately and on time.
Stand and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently.
Requirements of the Machine Tech Dept. 50
Demonstrated mechanical ability and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and comprehend equipment operation manuals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Willingness to pay union dues as required.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Compensation/Benefits for the Machine Tech Dept. 50
Union dues: $25 a week for the first 4 weeks, then $13.20 a week thereafter.
