Fabric Cutter Preferred Experience
Experience in cutting using the following methods:
Straight knife table cutting and CNC Cutting (single ply automatic cutting table and Laser)
Ability to read and interpret a cut ticket or similar experience
Basic computer skills
Familiarity with different types of fabrics and their properties, and the ability to adapt to new materials
Physical dexterity and stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy rolls of fabric
Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring, cutting, and inspecting fabric
Die cutting (Small Swing Arm Press, Traveling Head) experience
Preferred fabric cutter soft skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate with designers and other team members
Time management skills to meet production deadlines
Critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and problem-solve cutting issues
Flexibility and adaptability to work with changing production schedules and priorities
Teamwork and collaboration skills to contribute to a positive work environment
Pay Scale: $16 – $18 hour
