Warehouse Associate
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Reports To: General Manager, with day-to-day direction from Warehouse Coordinators

Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations. This is a hands-on position responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, communicates well, takes direction and feedback professionally, and is willing to learn new systems and processes. This position works closely with Warehouse Coordinators and other team members to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify products, quantities, labels, and shipping information before orders are completed.
  • Operate automated box-forming/erecting equipment as part of the daily packing process.
  • Work alongside Warehouse Coordinators when operating equipment that requires multiple employees.
  • Follow established shipping and fulfillment procedures using ShipStation after training.
  • Identify and communicate order discrepancies, inventory shortages, damaged products, or other fulfillment issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and warehouse environment.
  • Ensure products, materials, tools, and equipment are returned to their designated locations.
  • Support inventory counts, cycle counts, restocking, and product organization.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying delivered products.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize materials and products as needed.
  • Communicate proactively with Warehouse Coordinators, management, and other departments regarding order status, stock issues, and exceptions.
  • Use Slack or other workplace communication tools for daily operational communication.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ask questions when orders or processes do not match established procedures.
  • Accept coaching and feedback and apply necessary changes to improve performance.
  • Report operational, equipment, safety, or quality concerns promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or distribution experience required.
  • Previous picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience.
  • Comfortable learning warehouse and shipping software, including ShipStation.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating through Slack or similar workplace platforms.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
  • Coachable and receptive to feedback.
  • Self-motivated and able to recognize tasks that need to be completed without constant supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative warehouse team.
  • Continuous-improvement mindset with a willingness to suggest better ways of completing tasks.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to work in an active warehouse environment throughout the scheduled shift.
