Pay Rate: $18.11 per hour + $1.63 shift differential
Total Hourly Rate: $19.74 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift

Opportunity Overview

Are you ready to play an important role in keeping production running smoothly? Our client is seeking a dependable and motivated Prep Supply Associate to join their 2nd Shift team in Newburyport, MA.

In this role, you’ll support daily production by preparing and organizing ingredients, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are available when needed. Responsibilities

• Pull and kit ingredients accurately according to production needs.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures and accurately document LOT numbers.
• Complete all required DSI transactions daily.
• Provide packaging supplies and necessary materials to the production team.
• Use Production Schedules and Materials Requirement Plans to properly allocate materials.
• Load and unload trucks at warehouse docks as needed.
• Safely operate fork trucks, pallet jacks, and electrical hand trucks.
• Map raw material locations throughout the warehouse and document LOT codes.
• Help maintain accurate organization and movement of materials throughout the facility.
• Participate in the annual GFSI/FSSC 22000 audit and assist with procedures and corrective actions as needed.
• Follow the plant’s HACCP plans and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of FIFO procedures and LOT number documentation.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently complete DSI transactions.
• Experience operating fork trucks, pallet jacks, and electrical hand trucks.
• Familiarity with Production Schedules and Materials Requirement Plans.
• Ability to safely and efficiently load and unload trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to help maintain proper production flow.
• Commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and professionalism.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
