About the Opportunity

Masis Staffing is partnering with a global leader in specialty materials and chemical solutions to place Production Operators on their 3rd shift team. What You Will Do

• Set up, start, and run production machinery
• Weigh and insert ingredients to meet recipe specifications, or ensure pre-blended materials are correctly delivered and loaded into machinery
• Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation; troubleshoot equipment and processing issues as they arise
• Operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials
• Collect material samples and deliver to the lab for evaluation; apply batch adjustment instructions as directed
• Perform all required machine cleaning
• Document completed work including logs, data reports, and procedure records

What We Are Looking For

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent training and experience
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills including conversions and working with units such as weight, volume, and density
• Dependable and reliable with a strong sense of accountability
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Team player who is open to learning and sharing knowledge with coworkers

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; occasional bending, stooping, and climbing ladders or stairs
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to communicate clearly and follow work instructions in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must be able to detect and respond to safety alarms
• Required use of personal protective equipment including safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, AND hard hat
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, extreme heat and humidity, and occasional dust or fumes
