Material Handler / Equipment Operator

Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay: $22
Location: Joliet IL

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler / Equipment Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment and efficiently moving goods throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate mechanical and motorized equipment, including:
- Forklifts
- Dollies
- Hand trucks
- Other material handling equipment
Safely move products and materials to and from designated locations
Load, unload, stage, and transport materials as needed
Follow proper material handling, warehouse, and safety procedures
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Follow company policies and OSHA safety guidelines
Support daily logistics, supply chain, and distribution operations
Ensure materials are moved accurately and efficiently
Work with warehouse and operations teams to meet daily business needs

Qualifications

Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
Forklift experience required or strongly preferred
Experience operating mechanical or motorized equipment
Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, material management, or distribution is a plus
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to safely lift and move materials as required by the position
