Assembler II

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking dependable and motivated Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team in Phoenix, AZ. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and units using hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment.

 

This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and interested in developing their skills within a manufacturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing assembly equipment to assemble units and mechanical components.
  • Assemble parts and components according to work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Test and inspect parts and mechanisms to ensure components meet required tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
  • Repair, adjust, or refit parts and assemblies that do not meet specifications or tolerance requirements.
  • Measure and verify proper fit, alignment, and placement of components.
  • Maintain accurate daily assembly and production records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Learn and perform brazing techniques used to join copper mechanical components as required.
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures and quality standards.
  • Work effectively with supervisors and production team members.
  • Perform additional manufacturing and assembly duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience is preferred but not required.
  • Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions and production procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good mechanical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.
  • Willingness to learn new manufacturing and assembly processes.

 

Physical Requirements

 

  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Ability to work at heights when required.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear.
  • Ability to complete required job-specific training and assessments.
