Position Summary 

Masis Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Cleaner to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment throughout our Georgia warehouse. This position is responsible for cleaning warehouse floors, offices, restrooms, break areas, dock areas, and other shared spaces. 

The ideal candidate takes ownership of assigned areas, works independently, and understands that warehouse cleanliness is essential to employee safety and efficient operations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, workstations, staging areas, and dock areas. 

  • Remove trash, cardboard, shrink wrap, wood debris, empty pallets, and other waste from designated areas. 

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, breakrooms, and shared employee spaces. 

  • Restock paper products, soap, cleaning supplies, and other restroom or breakroom necessities. 

  • Respond to spills promptly and place appropriate warning signs around wet or hazardous areas. 

  • Operate approved floor-cleaning equipment and cleaning tools safely and properly. 

  • Keep emergency exits, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, electrical panels, pedestrian walkways, and dock access points clear. 

  • Identify and immediately report spills, leaks, damaged pallets, exposed nails, broken equipment, rack damage, or other safety concerns to warehouse leadership. 

  • Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when additional materials are needed. 

  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and complete required cleaning and safety checklists accurately. 

  • Follow all Swiss Madison safety procedures, warehouse rules, and company policies. 

  • Assist with light 

  • warehouse organization or general housekeeping projects when directed by management. 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

     

    Qualifications 

  • Previous commercial, industrial, or warehouse-cleaning experience is preferred. 

  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks without continuous supervision. 

  • Dependable attendance and punctuality. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace. 

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. 

  • Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, tools, and powered floor-cleaning equipment. 

  • Willingness to work in an active warehouse environment around forklifts and other material-handling equipment. 

  • Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday. 

  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning movements. 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when necessary. 

  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and noise levels. 

  • Ability to safely climb a step ladder when required. 

  • Performance Expectations 

    Success in this role will be measured by: 

  • Cleanliness and organization of assigned warehouse and employee areas. 

  • Consistent completion of required cleaning schedules and checklists. 

  • Prompt removal of debris and correction or reporting of safety hazards. 

  • Proper care and use of cleaning equipment and supplies. 

  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and adherence to the assigned schedule. 

  • Compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.

    Pay: $17–$18/hour

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
