Maintenance Technician
Machine shop maintenance role responsible for supporting machine tool operations, maintaining fluids and equipment, assisting operators, and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
Maintain proper oil, coolant, concentration, and pH levels in machine tools.
Monitor machine tools, tooling, and work centers to ensure they remain in good working condition.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; monitor general housekeeping and workplace safety.
Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes and inspect rigging equipment for proper condition.
Assist machine operators as needed while maintaining high-quality workmanship and keeping job documentation current and organized.
Maintenance Technician Requirements
Machine shop environment experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a working knowledge of hydraulic and lubrication fluids.
Knowledge of common manufacturing materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Ability to lift, climb, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding work.
Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, organization, and equipment care.
Maintenance Technician Compensation
Compensation: $23 – $28 an hour dependent on experience
