Maintenance Worker

Location: Centerbrook, CT
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Masis Staffing is hiring a dependable Maintenance Worker for a manufacturing facility in Centerbrook, CT. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a workplace clean, safe, organized, and running smoothly.

Bonus Opportunity: Eligible employees can earn an extra $100 for each completed month during the promotional period:

• November 2026: $100

• December 2026: $100

• January 2027: $100

Earn up to $300 in additional bonuses! Employees must remain actively assigned to the designated worksite to qualify. Bonuses are paid at the beginning of the following month for the previous completed month. Bonus payments may be taxable, and program terms and eligibility are subject to change.

What We Offer

Job Responsibilities

Custodial Duties — Approximately 90%

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum production and office spaces.

• Empty trash and recycling containers.

• Clean windows, doors, glass, and other surfaces.

• Monitor and replenish janitorial supplies.

Maintenance Duties — Approximately 10%

• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machinery, tools, and equipment.

• Identify and report mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC issues.

• Respond to general facility maintenance requests.

• Assist with installations, facility improvements, and property upkeep.

• Maintain exterior areas, including basic landscaping.

• Organize pallet and crate storage areas.

• Move or install office furniture as needed.

• Maintain maintenance logs and inspection records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• 1–2 years of custodial, general maintenance, or related experience.

• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools safely.

• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Dependable, self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or industrial facility experience.

• Familiarity with workplace safety practices or OSHA guidelines.

• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
