Part-Time Grocery Delivery Driver (Automatic Van)

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Part-Time Grocery Delivery Driver to deliver groceries to individual homes using an automatic van. This role requires strong delivery experience (home delivery preferred), safe driving habits, and the ability to lift and carry items up to 40–50 lbs while navigating stairs during deliveries.

Schedule (No Tuesdays)

Monday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Deliver groceries to customers’ homes in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
Load/unload grocery items and carry deliveries (up to 40–50 lbs).
Navigate stairs and varying home entryways while making deliveries.
Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members.
Follow delivery routes, schedules, and any delivery instructions provided.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
Operate an automatic van safely and follow all traffic laws and company policies.

Required Qualifications

Previous delivery driving experience (home delivery experience strongly preferred).
Ability to lift and carry 40–50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to navigate stairs while carrying deliveries.
Strong customer service mindset with professional communication skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting/carrying of grocery items up to 40–50 lbs.
Frequent walking, climbing stairs, and standing throughout the shift.
