Fusion Transport is looking for dependable and motivated Full-Time Forklift Operators / Loaders to join our fast-paced 3PL and cross-dock operation in Romeoville, IL.

This is not seasonal or temporary work. We are looking for reliable team members who want consistent, year-round employment, 40+ hours per week, and opportunities to grow within our operation.

The Forklift Operator / Loader will be responsible for safely moving materials, loading and unloading products, maintaining accurate inventory records, and keeping the warehouse organized and running efficiently.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Complete and document daily forklift inspections.
  • Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Move materials to and from stock and manufacturing lines using an RF scanner/gun.
  • Accurately record all material movements in the WMS system in real time.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Shrink-wrap and stage materials in the appropriate areas.
  • Move inventory and non-inventory pallets to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Perform accurate cycle counts and other inventory counts as needed.
  • Maintain proper pallet organization throughout the facility.
  • Assist with warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Empty dumpsters and load recyclable materials into dunnage trailers as needed.
  • Communicate with team members and leadership regarding current and upcoming warehouse needs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1–2 years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
  • Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, 3PL, or cross-dock environment is a plus.
  • Experience using an RF scanner and WMS system preferred.
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
