Forklift Operator

Position: Forklift Operator Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial

Job Summary

MASIS Staffing  is a leading manufacturer of specialty coatings, adhesives, and sealants serving the construction and industrial industries. We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team.

In this role, you will operate forklifts and other equipment to safely move, stage, load, and unload materials and finished products throughout the plant. You will also work as part of a team supporting production, packaging, and shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Select the correct products according to pick sheets and prepare orders for shipment.
• Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Stack finished products onto pallets, wrap pallets, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Move products to designated staging areas.
• Use scanners and other equipment to track and move materials.
• Assist with material handling and cycle counting as needed.
• Work safely around machinery, chemicals, and other industrial equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Prior experience loading and unloading trucks in a high-volume facility.
• Material handling experience preferred.
• RF scanner and cycle counting experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely maneuver large amounts of product through congested areas.
• Ability to work both sitting and standing throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to safety and following procedures.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
